Some secrets are forgotten.

Others are buried on purpose.

When human remains are discovered behind Salem Ridge High School, siblings Jacey and Jacob are drawn into the mystery of Emily Carver—a teenage girl who supposedly left town twenty years ago.

Except Emily never left.

As old yearbooks, photographs, records, and fading memories begin to contradict the story everyone accepted, Jacey and Jacob realize that Salem has been keeping more than one secret. The deeper they dig into Emily’s past, the more unsettling the questions become—and the more it seems that some things were never meant to be remembered.

Because beneath the history of an ordinary town lies something much older.

Something connected to family, memory, and a bloodline whose origins have nearly been forgotten.

Magic can be learned. Power can be taught.

But some bloodlines were ancient before either had a name—and even the darkest evil remembers why it fears them.

The Forgotten Covenant: Book One — What Time Buried is a dark mystery thriller blending a decades-old disappearance, buried family secrets, supernatural unease, and the terrifying possibility that the past is not finished with the living.
